About the Item

Antique early 20th Century British burgundy leather-bound jewellery box with decorative silver-gilt mounts, cast escutcheon and lion mask handles. It features a working lock and a key. Inside, the soft beige silk lining holds three trays: one with six sections for large pieces, another with 18 smaller sections, and a final tray with long sections and slots for necklaces and rings. A truly stunning addition for your home to store your most treasured posessions. Hallmarked English solid silver (925 standard), Birmingham, year 1928 (D), makers mark "A BROS LTD", (Adie Brothers Ltd). CONDITION In Great Condition - Wear expected with age.
