Beautiful silver-plated brass jewelry box, France, 1880s.
Fine flower tendrils and blossom decorations on all sides.
A christening party can be seen on the lid. In the center of the scene is a lady holding the child to be baptized in her arms. Beautiful attention to detail on the entire lid.
The depiction on the lid after Aricci "Le Bapteme", the baptism.
Signed by the artist "E.T." on the bottom.
