About the Item

Ornate jewelry box, possibly converted from a cigar box in gilt bronze. Engine turned (Guilloche without enamel with gilt) and hand-engraved patterns throughout the piece. Made in Denmark during the 1920s or 30s. Engraved Guldbronze (Gilt bronze) beneath its base. The blue velvet is not period and can obviously be removed. Measurements: 14x10,5x4,5 cm.
