Sizeable rectangular, wooden coffer with its key. The blackened wood is inlaid with mother-of-pearl and brass. The lid and the main face of the box are richly decorated with gilded rinceau, flowers, and scrolling vegetation. The interior is lined with light-beige velvet, circa 1860 Dimension: W 13 in x D 9.1in x H 5.1in. Dimension: L 33cm x P 23cm x H 13cm.
