Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown Zanfirico ribbons and green canes Italian art glass vanity powder jar or jewelry box. Attributed to designer Alfredo Barbini. The jar has emerald green canes and white Zanfirico ribbons with aventurine inside, alternating in a swirling pattern. It has a decorative ball on the top of the lid, filled with gold leaf. It is made with heavy and thick glass for its size. Would make a great display piece on any vanity, coffee table or credenza. Use it as a catchall, candy jar, or to keep your rings near your bedside. Mid-century era. Measures: 5 1/2" across x 5" high.
