About the Item
Beautiful and large, vintage Murano hand blown ruby red Italian art glass vanity jewelry box. Created in the manner of designers Alfredo Barbini and Flavio Poli / Seguso Vertri D' Arte companies. The piece was made in the "Corroso" acid etched technique. It is textured throughout the outside surface. The handle on the lid has a polished top, with circular tapered cone shape. Would make a great display piece on any dresser, console or coffee table. Use it as a catchall, or fill it with jewelry. It can hold many necklaces, rings and other pieces of jewelry. You will be able to showcase it as a decorative piece in any room. Please note, there is a small chip to the inside rim of the lid (see last photo). Mentioned for accuracy, and cannot be seen when displayed. Measures over 8 1/4" across x 4" tall.
