About the Item
Rectangular wooden jewelry box covered in a green malachite stone look veneer. Wide at 9” and a depth of 6.25”, this vessel can hideaway just about any item that clutters up a table or vanity. A thin veneer of green, black and very light cream wrap around the box on each side. At the back, an exterior silver hinge attaches the lid to the base of the box and allows the top to raise and close. The interior of the box is made of wood. It could be cedar, however, we are unsure. The sides of the box are very thick at approximately .5” deep. Making for a very sturdy piece. The interior is all wood and allows for ample room for storage of jewelry or any other items that need to be hidden away. A wonderful way to incorporate organic modern design into any home or office. Plus, a chic way to hide clutter or other items that need to be quickly tucked away.
How we would style it:
An organic modern piece deserves to be seen. Place this baby on a tabletop such as a coffee table, on top of a stack of well-loved books. Use it to hide clutter, or as a humidor and revel in its beauty and make it a conversation piece over cocktails. It could also be used as a chic office accessory. Placed on a desk, use it to hold things like pens, notecards, tape measures or business cards.
