A beautiful, very finely carved antique black forest jewelry box from the late 19th/ early 20th century made in Switzerland.
A large and impressive four-tiered piece with 6 swing out shelves. Fully hand-carved out of Fruitwood.
Each part is finely decorated with hand carved flowers
leaves. This includes all sides, back
top of the jewelry chest
The attention to detail is simply breathtaking. On top of the chest are a pair of foxes carved by a master carver.
The interior is fully covered in blue velvet it is fully original and has hardly any wear.
This 19th century jewelry box comes with original lock
key in working order (very rare).
The wood is in marvelous condition only a few slight chips missing from the top carved center piece.
However barely visible and not annoying in anyway. This jewelry box is just breathtaking all together !
