About the Item

This jewelry box is built similar to a Roman/Greek Pantheon with 17 Silver bordered hand painted enamel panels. The panels are embellished with romantic pastoral couple scenes and portraits of ladies and gentlemen. The walls of the architectural structure are supported by columns with acorn finials. The top part is similar to a pediment with different enamel paintings in the frieze and also ending with an acorn finial. Each one of the four top front is decorated with a silver shell relief. There are two main doors that hide three drawers. Each one after you open it is covered by red velvet which serves to keep your jewelry treasures. Engraving of multiple scrolls over the metal walls and beading details add to the majesty of this piece that is raised over four acanthus scrolls feet.
