About the Item

An 18th century porcelain snuff or trinket posx, hand painted with a gilt bronze rim and hinge. Made in Germany by Hochst porcelain with a gold pinwheel hallmark dating this to 1740's. The top with a courting couple scene with floral and gilt decoration all over. 3.5 inches wide, 3 inches deep, 2.5 inches tall, no breaks or repairs.
