This exceptional 19th century Scottish vesta case is crafted from finely polished banded agate, admired for its striking natural striations in shades of brown, grey, white, and smoky black. The cylindrical form is elegantly fitted with gilt metal bands and a vertical gilt spine, creating a refined contrast between the luminous stone and the warm golden patina of the metal.
