About the Item
Dunhill opened the Paris location in 1924 to meet the growing demand for luxury goods pertaining to motoring and tobacco. Both the box and cover are marked with the Goddess Minerva in an octagon, the French punch mark for 950 Fine Silver, a grade of silver finer then sterling silver.

A simple press of the center button seamlessly hidden in the center dot of the dice pops open a hinged lid with a 24-cigarette holder inside.
This is a very low-production piece and possibly the only one ever made on special order. Beautiful hand-made by the silversmith with the uttermost attention to detail.
