Georgian (George III) Period, sterling silver-mounted (unmarked, but tested) ram's horn snuff mull, having a hinged lid, Scotland, Ca. 1795. Measures 1 1/2 inches diameter at widest point) x 3 inches high (when standing on end). Sterling silver mount is scalloped in design. The sterling silver cartouche is engraved with two letters - AL- in a graceful, script font. Dark areas on sterling silver in photos are reflections. In good antique condition.
