About the Item
Novelty Cricket Snuff Box.
A 19th century sycamore snuff box with a cricket monochrome transfer image on the lid. The image is of a cricket match with the players all wearing top hats and shows the two batsmen at the wickets, with the wicket keeper and outfielders. The wooden snuff box has an integral hinge and still retains some of its original foil lining.
There are also several images of the snuff box with other cricketing items that are available separately. Please call for details.
