A fine antique Georgian style mahogany tea caddy.
Of bombé form with fruit wood inlay, gilt brass mounts
handle, and bracket feet.
Simply a wonderful, rare form!

Late 19th or Early 20th Century
Overall Condition:
It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition.
Condition Details:
There is rubbing to the gilt hardware, some checking (or splits) to the veneer, a few small losses to the wood throughout (mostly to edges and corners), and an older reglue to the base
feet. Otherwise, there are some tiny losses here
there, some fine
light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age

Marked to the lock -- Reliable Lever / Made in England.
