About the Item

Magnificent Art Deco pot with its highly decorative lid, ideal as a candy dish, sugar bowl, trinket tray, or decorative object. Roger Guérin (1896-1954) was a Belgian ceramist of the Art Deco period, born in Jumet and died in Bouffioulx. He studied under Willem Delsaux and founded the cooperative company Poteries Roger Guerin in 1919. Known for his experimental salt-glazing techniques and Art Deco decorations, he developed his business with his son Jules Guérin. His stoneware works are highly sought-after and continue to be sold at auctions and in art galleries. Extremely secure and careful shipping worldwide. Designer: Roger Guérin. Producer: Roger Guérin.
