Who was Gunnar Ander (1908-1976)?
Gunnar Ander was a Swedish designer and architect. Ander was hired by Erik Hovhammar at Lindshammar's glassworks to develop the company's design profile. For Lindshammar, Ander developed glassware and art glass and developed 56 new glass colors. Ander also worked at Ystad Metall for whom he designed brass candlesticks and other objects in wrought iron.
