About the Item
Very rare large candle holder from the 1970s. It consists of 3 stainless steel tubes which are connected to each other by a round glass disc. For large candles up to 4.3" (11 cm) in diameter.
Design: Knut Hesterberg, German sculptor and furniture designer (1941 - 2016). His most famous design is the propeller coffee table for the manufacturer Ronald Schmitt. While this table is quite common, my research for the candlestick didn't turn up any hits.

Knut Hesterberg
Knut Hesterberg is a world-famous German sculptor who started his career at a graphic art and design studio in Zurich, Switzerland, where he came into contact with the architect and artist Max Bill, who had a great influence on his future work. He has exhibited his sculptures all-over Europe, and many of his large-scale sculptures are permanently installed in public spaces throughout Germany and a few in Italy.
