About the Item

A stunning most attractive pair of early 19th century Empire three-light figural candelabra ‘A la Victoire’ in the Neoclassical style. Each candelabra is raised by four wreathed topie shaped bun feet below the Siena marble bases with richly chased ormolu mounts. On top the bases, sculptures of Victory women are standing, each holding three branches with candleholders. Circa 1815 French Dimensions: High: 51 cm ; Bases 12 cm x 11.5 cm
