About the Item

A pair of wonderful French gilt and patinated bronze candelabras made by Atelier Clodion in the mid-19th century. Depicting two patinated bronze satyrs sitting on a tree stump holding two gilt berried branches which lead to a candleholder on each end. Signed: C I found these objects at an antique fair in Southern France. Height: 20.5 cm / 8".
