Pair of French First Empire Candelabra Jean-Philippe Baptiste Huguet Paris 1800-1809
The pair, on circular bases each decorated with a band of stylized acanthus, the tapered stem is plain, adorned with palm leaf motifs and molded bands, the three branches, and central stem are decorated with engraved acanthus leaves, a motif repeated on the Medici vase-shaped bobeches.
Silver marks on the base, on the branches, and on the bobeches. Some bobeches marked Paris 1809-1819.
