A striking and highly decorative pair of large French bronze candelabras, richly modeled in the Louis XV tradition, offering impressive scale, elegant movement, and exceptional sculptural presence.
This elegant pair of French candelabras dates to approximately 1920 and is executed in the Louis XV/Rococo style, characterized by flowing curves, asymmetrical scrollwork, and lush, naturalistic ornamentation.
Each candelabrum features a finely cast baluster-form stem rising from a sculptural base with scrolling feet. The upper section branches into four gracefully curved candle arms, arranged around a central stem, creating a balanced yet dynamic silhouette typical of late Rococo revival works.
