About the Item

Magnificent pair of large, finely chased gilt bronze candelabra from the Restoration period, each with six lights and a central arm supporting a flame-shaped snuffer. The fluted shaft rests on tripod legs. Superb original mercury gilding in perfect condition. Parisian work in the taste of Pierre-Philippe Thomire, circa 1830. Highly decorative pieces. Very good condition.
