About the Item
A very fine and unusual pair of French patinated bronze two branch figural candelabra. Quite superb modelling to the two individual figures. Standing upon tri-form base decorated with Anthemion and harebells, the two figures stand upon a circular stem. Each figure clothed in loose pantaloons to the knee, shirt and waistcoat all held together with a sash tied at the waist. Each figure also wears a head dress with flowing ponytail. A true pair as standing at opposite positions with one arm and candle held high, the other lower.
