About the Item
Large hand-carved Swedish midcentury organic modern lacquered solid pine wood candelabra for five candles. Likely designed by Stig Johnsson and manufactured in the 1970s by Smålandsslöjd in the small Swedish town of Värnamo. Handmade with rounded organic shapes and five arms fitted for tea lights and thick candles. Metal ring within each arm to protect the wood. Stamped under base with manufacturer's name.
Beautiful vintage condition consistent with age and wear.
