About the Item

This Bezalel Hanukkah lamp is elegantly decorated with a prominent rosette on its triangular backplate. On the lower half of the backplate are numerous notched archways placed under the similarly indented inscription in Hebrew which translates to "These Candles Are Holy". A row of eight oil cups rest on the flat bottom base supported by four ball feet. Two detachable servant lamps are placed in holders at each side of the Hanukkah lamp. These two lamps were also used for Shabbat candles each weekend Bezalel, Jerusalem is marked on reverse at the top of the backplate with a triangular ring for hanging purposes.
