This table light was designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson in the 1960s and produced by his own company, Hans Agne Jakobsson A. B. in Markaryd, Sweden. This base stand of this item is made of solid wood and has a nice black color with little painted elements on the bottom edge. the shade on the top is stacked on the wooden base and is made of frosted white glass. this item is in a good vintage condition with patina, no damage on the original glass shade. the base is marked with the original HAJ label, please see images.

Hans-Agne Jakobsson
Hans-Agne Jakobsson was a Swedish interior and furniture designer, who ran his own company from 1951. Jakobsson was especially famous for his lighting designs, which often had a softly glowing light and organic shape. His designs were inspired by great, modern Scandinavian designers such as the Finnish icon Alvar Aalto and Danish lighting master Poul Henningsen.
