About the Item
A fine large Florentine Italian gilt tole wall candle sconce with three arms. Decorated in metal tole roses and leaves. All hand-painted in brushed gold. Three arms each curl upwards from the bottom of the piece and are wrapped in gilt roses and leaves. At the top of each arm, are round decorated candle holders with scalloped edges. Toward the center of the sconce, a small hand-made ceramic shelf was painted in the same gilded paint. This shelf could be used to display small photos or tealights. Above the shelf, a spray of gilt roses stands tall. This is a piece that will command attention in any space. Just add three tall tapered candles to give any room that warm romantic glow. It would be great in an entry, hallway, great room, or bedroom.
Marked at back, is "Italy" as well as a small round metal tag which is attached and marked "Made in Italy".
