About the Item

A pair of 18th Century Italian pricket candlestick holders. Ornately carved throughout with remnants of a silver leaf finish. Sculptural knopped columns each support a broad, flower-like drip pan with a metal point to hold a candle. Tripod bases are carved with acanthus flourishes and finish with scrolled feet.
