About the Item
A wonderful pair of brass candlesticks featuring cast fluted columnar shafts with square bases nicely detailed and crisply cast decorated with crowned dolphins (the fish), acanthus leaf and a floral motifs. Dating circa mid-19th century or earlier. Good overall condition and structurally sound. Overall cosmetic wear, tarnish, verdi gris and some candle wax.
They both stand approximately 7.5" high and the bases measure approximately 4.75" x 4.75".
