Amazing pair of photophores or lanterns for candles, France, 20th century,
In the form of small French houses with tin roofs and framed windows.
In washed oak and wrought iron on the ceiling. A side door opens, on the top it is separated on the sides.
The 3 panels of the doors have oak wood blades. Wrought iron hinges and opening
On the roof it has a forged ace to transport them
They are exceptionally large in size, could be installed for ceiling light fixtures.
It comes from a private collection in the south of France.
Very difficult to find and in excellent condition.
