1920s large fruits, salade, dessert bowl or centre piece in clear transparent crystal.
The Bayel Royal Manufacture was born in 1666, a hundred years before Baccarat, on the request of Louis XIV and Colbert. They produced for the French Royalty until 1727 and closer to our period Général De Gaulle, Président John Fitzgerald Kennedy, the King of Maroc, Compagnie des Wagons-lits, the Orient-Express, the Cruise Liner France, the Ritz, the Elysée Palace, Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Fabergé, Cartier.
This bowl is made from heavy, translucent, high-gloss crystal. The design is sleek, with a singular effect thanks to the size, quality and transparency of the crystal, catching and subtlety diffracting the light.
A very chic and sleek table decoration such as the 1920's era could produce.
Perfect for fruits, salads, vegetables and desserts.
