About the Item
Modernist seven-candle solid silver candlestick by Hans Hollein for Cleto Munari. This piece illustrates the avant-garde spirit of 1970s Italian design. It is both an everyday object and a contemporary art object. It was designed in 1979 and produced in 1992 in Munari's studio. Limited edition numbered edition No. 52/99.
The overall design transcends its ritual function to create a silver sculpture, typical of the understated and innovative aesthetic championed by Munari
