Although the Gothic period was already over this style stayed popular for a long time in the French country side.
Very beautiful detailed with French Fleur de lyse ornaments. The Fleur de Lyse ( French Lilies) was the symbol of the French royal family. This amazing candleholder once had its place in a church or chapel.
