Each candlestick features a round tiered foot connected to a long, hand-chased linear design column. The sconce is elegantly crafted and functional, suitable for standard width candles. This sought-after functionalist design is both elegant and simple. Dimensions: - Height: 9 7/8 inches (25 cm) - Base diameter: 4 inches (10.1 cm) - Weight: 880 grams (31.04 oz) Hallmarks: Both candlesticks bear matching vintage Georg Jensen Hallmarks - Sterling Denmark and signature of Sigvard Bernadotte as well as C11 for the year 2000. A fine and impressive, pair of antique George VI English sterling silver candlesticks; part of our ornamental silverware collection. These impressive antique 1930s English sterling silver candlesticks have a plain subtly tapering columnar form. The impressive Corinthian capital of each retains the original hallmarked detachable push fit sconce ornamented with embossed bead decoration to the rim. The subtly tapering panelled columns are supported by a circular boss to a square swept foot. The base of each candlestick is embellished with a band of embossed floral rosette and bud garlands, flanked with bead decorated borders. Both candlesticks have weighted bases and are fitted with green baize to the underside.
