About the Item
A monumental candleholder in cast brass, created in the spirit of brutalism. Its form unfolds like a branching structure, at once reminiscent of a tree and of modernist architecture. The raw, worked surface emphasizes the irregularities of the brass and its shifting patterns.
At the top rests a shallow dish with three upward-pointing spikes, designed to hold the candle in place. A functional detail integrated into the whole, underscoring the unity of form and purpose.
