About the Item

A pair of figural candelabra in the Louis XVI style. Bronze, gilt, and alabaster. White pedestal base on a square stand with recessed corners on four ball feet. Winged putti, facing each other as a pair, each holding a candlestick; a cornucopia with a fruit wreath and a plant shoot, with a central candle and three leafy lateral branches with volutes and rosettes, each with vase-like candle holders above drip trays. H. 69 cm.
