A pair of 19th century mercury glass candleholders.
High quality mouthblown item.
Fine and heavy candlesticks in very good condition.
Mercury glass is,sometimes named as "poor-mans-silver", because it was less expensive than the massive silver candlesticks.
The candlesticks made of mouthblown glass, got inlaid with mercury, which gives them the look of real silver.
No chips, no cracks.
