About the Item
A pair of 19th century English ormolu and parcel silvered swan candlesticks after an 1834 design by William Bateman II for Rundell, Bridge and Rundell. Each leafy acanthus-form nozzle with matching drip pan rises from a slender foliate stem, flanked by three seated swans, all set upon a shaped tripartite base resting on lobed bun feet.
