About the Item
English-style brass push-up candlesticks circa 1930's. The candlesticks are made of solid brass with a substantial weight.
The turned, stacked baluster design is often referred to as "beehive" or "diamond" pattern due to the faceted knobs on the stem.
The "push-up" mechanism, which is a rod inside the column, allows the user to raise the candle as it burns down but it is not functional.
Dimensions: 13 3/4" H x 4 3/4" W
Condition: Please see detail photos. The push up feature is not functional. Oxidation to brass consistent with age and is considered enhancing to the Georgian presentation.
