About the Item
This pair of clear glass figural dolphin lustres are unsigned, but presumed to have been made in Italy in circa 1900 in the Victorian style. These candle holders are made of heavy molded clear glass and depict detailed stylized dolphins with gilt accents. The tops have a removable bobeche with hanging prisms, so the lustres can be converted to candlesticks if so desires. The squared bases have hand painted enamel leaves decorating each corner.
