About the Item
Beautiful 18th century gilded Italian candlestick prickets. Used in a church during a time when candlelight was the only form of illumination, the backs are still modified to push against an alter table and have wonderful character and history. The hand scraping adds warmth and tells a story for each pricket. Easily converted into lamps or used with candles as desired.
