About the Item

Decorate a console or buffet with this elegant pair of vintage candlesticks. Crafted in Italy circa 1960 from solid elm, each tall candleholder stands on three scrolled feet set on a triangular base, supporting a finely turned and carved stem surmounted by a metal bobeche with pricket for pillar or taper candles. The richly contoured shafts display classic ecclesiastical lines with smooth curves and architectural balance. Both candlesticks are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, showcasing a warm walnut patina with subtle gilt accents. These graceful lights would complement a dining table, console, or mantle, and could easily be converted into custom table lamps if desired. Measures: 10″ W × 10″ D × 31″ H.
