These wall candlesticks were hand -sculpted in Arvika, Sweden. The candlesticks are made in brass by famous Holmström Arvika. These ones are signed on the back. The name Sunburst was given to the candlesticks because of middle sun is surrounded with small particles of the sun.
Good condition.

Lars August Holmström was born in 1894 in Gävleborg County and died in Båstad. He was a Swedish mid-century art smith. Holmström participated in the Paris Exhibition and hit here with candlesticks and chandeliers and also with silver work. He is mentioned in French art magazines, where his work is referred to as a masterpiece of art.
