More information coming soon… At almost four feet tall, this set of six giltwood candlesticks would have been placed on an Italian altar around 1810. The stately candlesticks have gilding on the front sides, with gold paint on the verso.

    Repaired: One candlestick has been professionally restored recently. Traces of older touchups to the gilding of all six. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Strong antique condition. Varying degrees of commensurate wear (age separations, wood losses, chips to gilding, and minor bobeche cavitations). Buildup to bobeches and sconces. Professionally restoration to one, but all have traces of old touchups.
