About the Item
A refined set of three antique Swedish brass candlesticks, dating to the mid-19th century, circa 1850–1870.
Elegant in proportion, with slender turned stems and stepped circular bases, characteristic of Swedish craftsmanship of the period.
Made from solid brass, the candlesticks retain a warm, naturally developed patina. Minor surface wear, subtle tool marks, and interior oxidation consistent with age and historical candle use are present, all contributing to their authentic character.
Restrained and timeless in design, these candlesticks reflect the Scandinavian preference for balance and simplicity, making them equally suited to classical and modern interiors.
