Modernist terracotta candle holder with sculpted face, hair and body. Hand-applied glaze in matte anthracite black on eyes, hair and clothes. Made to fit a slender candle. By ceramic artist Lizzie Thyssen (1925-) for Thyssen Keramik in the 1960s.
Stamped and numbered under base.
Beautiful vintage condition.
