A charming pair of 19th-century French Provincial candlesticks, turned from solid beech wood with a beautifully weathered whitewashed finish. Crafted in France circa 1860, these rustic candleholders showcase classic provincial simplicity with a bold sculptural presence. Their lathe-turned forms feature rhythmic banding and shapely silhouettes, perfectly worn from age and use. Each candlestick retains its original iron candle spike, now richly patinated with age. The surfaces are softened by time, bearing old cracks, knots, and wear from consistently early origin, adding character and authenticity.
