About the Item
Neoclassical-style, Victorian Period, sterling silver candlesticks, London, year-hallmarked for 1895, William Hutton and Sons - Makers. Each candlestick measures 3 inches wide (at widest point) x 3 inches deep (at deepest point) x 5 1/2 inches high (at highest point). The underside of each candlestick is covered in green felt. The pair is weighted. The stepped-up base of each candlestick is designed with a lovely fan motif and is also beaded. The beaded motif is continued on the removable bobeches. Dark areas on sterling silver in photos are reflections. In very good antique condition.
