About the Item
Crafted in France circa 1780 and forged of solid iron, the candle holder stands on four scrolled legs over a turned central shaft decorated with a few ornamental discs. The tall wrought iron floor-standing candelabrum is dressed at the pediment with a large bobeche over a platform holding a large candle, which is secured by small, curled iron brackets. The Gothic candle holder is in excellent condition, and adorns a rich patinated black finish. Candle included if needed. The heavy candelabra weighs 18 pounds!
